Parents – what an exciting Region Championship on Friday. The boys team just missed out on their 4th straight Region title, however they did not go down without a fight. The girls team had a strong showing as well. Both teams did exceptionally well. The vast majority ran/jump/threw their best marks of the season. We had a few school records set that are worthy of note:
• Boys 4×100 – 41.98 – Johnny Kwatang, Reggie White, Aaron Goodwin, Tyson Spears
• Boys 100m – 10.42 – Tyson Spears
• Boys Long Jump – 23’ 0” – Tyson Spears
Several members of the team qualified to move on to the State Qualifier this upcoming weekend at McEachern. The top 4 athletes and relays per event qualified. Results below:
