Roswell High School Track and Field

The boys and girls JV athletes traveled to Milton High School on Wednesday to participate in the North Fulton JV Invite.

The boys team won the meet with an outstanding total of 159 points outpacing Johns Creek, North Forsythe, Milton, Chattahoochee, Alpharetta, Northview and Centennial in that order.

The girls finished in second place with 122.5 points against the same schools just 7.5 points behind Milton High School.

Congratulations to both the boys and girls teams on many strong performances.

Saturday brought 24 teams and unseasonably warm weather to the Roswell High School track for the 17th annual Roswell Rotary Relays.

The girls and boys teams swept the team competition, with the girls winning over Chamblee, Woodstock, Mill Creek and Hillgrove while the boys finished in first place ahead of Mill Creek, Woodstock, Creekside and Brookwood.

Highlights of the meet:
Obos Ikpefan established a new season PR while setting a new Roswell Relays meet record with a leap of 46’9.5". The boys 4×400 meter relay team of Danniel Meier, Madison Evans, Jonathan Garner and Obos Ikpefan established a new school record with a “US 2nd Team Elite” time of 3:21.63.

Congratulations to the girls and boys teams on their victories and to each of the new record setting athletes.
