Roswell High School Track and Field

The Sectional Meet qualifiers (19 boys and 10 girls) competed on Saturday 4/28 at McEachern High School in order to qualify to compete in the State Meet.

During the meet, 4 school records were established and 8 boys and 4 girls qualified to represent Roswell High School in the State Meets being held this week and next.

Highlights of the Meet:

• Obos Ikpefan established a new school record he originally set in 2011 in the 400 meter run with a US First Team Elite time of 47.91 seconds.
• Amber Lewis lowered her school record in the 100 Hurdles established earlier this season with a time of 14.29 seconds.
• Peyton Thomas set school records in 2 events. Peyton broke the 3200 meter record for the third time this season with a time of 11:18.52 and she improved the school record in the 1600 established earlier this season by Morgan Green with a run of 5:09.75.
