Roswell High School Track and Field

RHS Track Fans – results from the Roswell Relays are attached. The weather was fantastic on Saturday and the kids ran well against teams from all over the state. We had several kids finishing in the top 3 in their respective events and two school records established.

Girls:

• 3200M – Sunshine Farmer – 3rd Place
• Distance Medley Relay – Erin Gant, Grace McCarty, Sunshine Flamer, Rachel VanAmburgh, – 2nd Place (12:53.41 NEW SCHOOL RECORD)

Boys:

• Long Jump – Tyson Spears – 1st Place (22’-6.75” – NEW SCHOOL RECORD)
• 100M – Tyson Spears – 3rd Place
• Shot Put – Tre Lamar – 3rd Place
• Pole Vault – Zane Rietveld – 3rd Place

There are new photos uploaded on the site from the event. Finally, I will be sending out a separate communications regarding our schedule this week and our road trip to Tampa.

RHS Track Fans – attached are the results for Tri-Meet tonight. The weather was brutal, however we were able to finish at a very reasonable time. Thanks to all the kids for braving the weather and posting some great results.

Parents and Athletes,

We will do everything possible to get the meet in today. There is some rain expected and the winds will pick up later as well. I am attaching the event list for all to view and the order of events. I look forward to being able to see how our athletes perform today after months of hard work.

Due to the temperature and forecast of rain to begin around 4:30 the decision has been made to cancel the meet today. We will make every effort to reschedule, however that is a difficult task with other facility usages. Team picture will be taken at 3:55 in the main gym today.

There is a JV meet this weekend that we are going to attempt to get kids involved in, but I understand if other commitments have been made.

Team – we are scheduled to have a dual meet vs. Centennial HS on Thursday after school. Events have been posted, thus the kids know what events they are running. There is a high probability of rain tomorrow so please check your email throughout the day to ensure the meet is still being held. Should the weather take a turn for the worst Coach Schultz will send out an announcement.
