Disney Meet Cancelled

Posted by Coach Schultz at Feb 26, 2014 7:05AM PST

Parents and Athletes,

It is with regret that I need to inform you that we will not be able to attend the meet at Disney this year. As the meet schedule has come out, many events have been scheduled for Friday March 21st. The Georgia High School Association will not allow for any competitions to take place on a school day unless it is the state meets. It does not make sense financially for us to go and for only a few events to take place on the Saturday we were scheduled to run.

I am in the process of finding another meet for us to attend that would allow for travel, for I know the kids have worked hard in the fundraiser to do so. I take complete responsibility for this error and if any of you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me or call me to discuss.

Sincerely,

Coach Schultz

Hornet 8 Way information

Posted by Roswell High School Track and Field at Feb 20, 2014 9:47AM PST

Parents and Athletes, the beginning of this season has been quite interesting with rain, sleet, and snow. However, the show most go on as scheduled and we start on Saturday. I will post entries for the team to see today and give those who are not competing some clear expectations. We have such a young group of kids it is important for them to all see their first meet. Kids not competing should be here by 8:45 to assist with field events and the running that will be taking place.

If you are a parent that would like to get up close to some action, feel free to come down and volunteer as well. Two of our coaches are unable to be here this weekend so all help is appreciated.

I am going to try and post the entry sheet that the kids will see today. Have a great rest of the week and see you on Saturday.
